I have always liked working with clay but rediscovered my love for it while I was in graduate school. It was the one artform that kept me grounded during that stressful time. It was my meditation! My love of maps and ties to geographic locations helped influence the topo pottery that I am currently working on by incorporating images of the landscapes around me to dress the outside of my mugs.
